මාර/ කොකාවල මධ්ය මහා විද්යාලය 1 - 13 ශ්රේණි සහිත මධ්ය මහා විද්යාලයකි.
උසස් පෙළ කලා වාණිජ විෂය ධාරාව පාසලේ පවතී. රජයේ නව ජාතික පාසල් 1000+ සංවර්ධනය
කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන යටතේ ජාතික පාසලක් වශයෙන් තෝරාගෙන ඇත. ශිෂ්ය සංඛ්යාව 552 කි.
ගුරුවරු සංඛ්යාව 42 කි. අනධ්යන කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සංවර්ධන
නිලධාරීන් ද සමඟ 25 කි. පාසල අක්කර 5.5 පමණ භූමියක පිහිටා
ඇත.
ක්රීඩාගාරය අලුතින් ඉදි කොට ඇත. ක්රීඩාපිටිය
සංවර්ධනය කිරීමට යෝජිතය. පාසල වටා සුරක්ෂිත වැටක් යෙදීමට කටයුතු සලසා ඇත. ඒ සඳහා
මන්ත්රී ප්රතිපාදන යටතේ මුදල් මුදලක් වෙන් වී ඇත. කොටසක් ඉදිකිරීමට හැකියාව ලැබී
ඇත. අන්තර්ජාල පහසුකම් පාසලට ලැබී ඇති අතර තවදුරටත් මෙය සංවර්ධනය කිරීමට නව ජාතික
පාසල් වැඩසටහන යටතේ රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 10ක පමණ මුදලක් වෙන් වී ඇත. ප්රසිද්ධ
විභාග වලින් පාසලේ සමත් ප්රතිශතය පහත දැක්වේ.

තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය විෂය සහ මාධ්ය අධ්යයනය විෂය පාසලේ ගිය වසරේ ආරම්භ කළ අතර තාක්ෂණික විෂය ආරම්භ කිරීමට කටයුතු යොදමින් තිබේ. ශිෂ්ය සංඛ්යාව පසුගිය අවුරුදු 2ට වඩා වර්ධනයක් පෙන්වන අතර ඉදිරි වසර පහ තුළ එය 750 ක් දක්වා වැඩි කර ගැනීමට කටයුතු සලසමින් තිබේ.
S - Situation now - Where are we now
Mara/ Kokawala Madhya Maha Vidyalaya is a Madhya Maha Vidyalaya with grades 1 - 13. A-level Arts Commerce stream is available in the school. Selected as a National School under the Government's 1000+ New National Schools Development Programme. The number of students is 552. The number of teachers is 42. The non-academic staff is 25 along with development officers. The school is situated on a land of about 5.5 acres.
The playground is newly built. It is proposed to develop the playground. Arrangements have been made to put a secure fence around the school. A sum of money has been allocated for that purpose under the MP allocation. It has been possible to build a part. The school has got internet facilities and an amount of 10 lakh rupees has been allocated under the new national school program to further develop this. Below is the pass percentage of the school in public examinations.
Information and communication technology subject and media studies subject was started in the school last year and preparations are being made to start the technical subject. The number of students shows an increase over the last 2 years and it is planned to increase it to 750 in the next five years.
